THE TOUR ‍ ‍

Come and see a classy and upscale part of Paris, the Canal Saint-Martin’s district, located in eastern Paris. Our tour will explore the canal that in 1802 Napoleon Bonaparte had commissioned to be built so to bring more fresh water and food to Paris, completed in 1825. Surrounding the canal are plenty of trendy restaurants and bars, alongside the oldest farmer’s market in Paris, Marche des Enfants Rouge. The area is also steeped in history, in particular Templar history, as it had once been the home of the Knights Templar, prior to group's decimation, which is claimed to have ended in 1314. All of it explored on our free tour, The Canal Saint-Martin Tour, although a $15 donation is highly suggested.
